Listen and take concerns seriously
We make space for people to speak up and respond respectfully when someone tells us that they feel unsafe, worried or at risk.

Keeping people safe
We are committed to protecting the adults, families and communities we support from abuse, neglect, exploitation and avoidable harm.
Our commitment
Everyone should feel listened to, treated with dignity and able to raise a concern without fear of being ignored.
We take safeguarding concerns seriously. Our staff and partners are expected to notice signs of harm, respond appropriately and pass concerns to the people or organisations who can help.
How we respond
We make space for people to speak up and respond respectfully when someone tells us that they feel unsafe, worried or at risk.
We record relevant information, consider immediate safety and follow the appropriate internal and professional safeguarding pathway.
Where appropriate, we work with Social Services, health professionals, emergency services and other relevant organisations to help protect people from harm.
We share information on a need-to-know basis and may share information without consent when this is necessary to protect someone from serious harm or where the law requires it.
If someone is in immediate danger
If there is an immediate risk to life or safety, contact the emergency services first. Once it is safe to do so, let the relevant professional team know what has happened.
Email management@rdfcarecic.com or call 07778 764044. If possible, include what happened, who may be at risk and any action already taken.
If you are unsure whether something is a safeguarding concern, please share it so it can be considered properly.
